Since 1983 when Brother Michael Reis founded Tides Family Services, the agency has successfully grown from its humble beginnings with about $15,000 in seed money and an office no bigger than a supply closet to one which now has a budget exceeding $5 million and over 100 employees. The Tides’ success story is predicated on the need to give at risk youth and their families the support structure needed to maintain them at home and in their communities.

Tides Family Services of West Warwick, an agency dedicated to serving at risk youth and their families, is growing in many ways. In addition to expanding its presence in Rhode Island by serving 500 families each month, Tides staff is growing flowers and vegetable plants at its West Warwick office located on 215 Washington Street.
