Tides Family Services is Growing
Tides Family Services of West Warwick, an agency dedicated to serving at risk youth and their families, is growing in many ways. In addition to expanding its presence in Rhode Island by serving 500 families each month, Tides staff is growing flowers and vegetable plants at its West Warwick office located on 215 Washington Street.
Pictured here are chairman and CEO of Tides, Brother Michael Reis FSC with former client and new employee, Raymond Quaranta.
In the late Spring Quaranta planted flower and vegetable seeds as part of a life skills training program. Now his crop of marigolds and geraniums is brightening up the front of the Tides’ building. "I wanted to give something back to Tides" Quaranta said. With help from former West Warwick businessman and Tides neighbor Richard Bisson, Ray was allowed to plant seedlings on Bisson’s property. In return Quaranta landscaped the land near the plantings, further beautifying the neighborhood.
Truly Tides Family Services is growing and making West Warwick a community with a blossoming future.
