"Hardball" host supports Tides Family Services with book signing.

12/3/11 - Providence, RI - On Saturday evening Chris Matthews of MSNBC's Hardball attended a special reception and booksigning event to benefit Tides Family Services, based in West Warwick, with 6 locations throughout the state of Rhode Island. The host of "Hardball" has recently authored and released a new book titled Jack Kennedy: Elusive Hero.

Nearly 130 people attended and more than $20,000 was raised to benefit the agency and its programs that work with at-risk youth and their families. Pictured with Mr. Matthews are Brother Michael, Linda D'Amario Rossi at whose home the fundraiser took place and Mr. Frank Sullivan, the Director of Development for Tides and a long time friend of Mr. Matthews.
