LINDSAY MORRISON TOUGAS

VICE PRESIDENT DEVELOPMENT & COMMUNICATIONS

Lindsay serves as Vice President of Development & Communications for Tides Family Services. She is responsible for the marketing, communication and business development efforts of the agency. In addition to strategic business development efforts, she directs public and media relations, branding, advertising and website development while managing and overseeing sponsorships, special events and charitable contributions.

Lindsay was born in Pawtucket, RI and raised minutes away in Seekonk, MA. She studied Communications at Western New England University before beginning a ten year career as a marketing consultant, working with a scope of companies from small, locally owned businesses to national brands. In that time, she worked on campaigns for several Rhode Island non-profit organizations contributing to the management, advertising and execution of their events.

Her passion for the connections between mental and physical health drove her Barre method certification which she now uses to teach classes in a 'Best of Rhode Island' awarded studio, while also teaching free community classes that make movement accessible to more populations across the state.
